grain structure, thereby significantly improving the mechanical properties of the material. The process first melts the alloy and pours it into a ceramic mold, and then through bottom-up cooling, the metal gradually solidifies from bottom to top, forming grains aligned in the direction of heat extraction. Directionally solidified castings perform well in high-temperature environments and are widely used in the manufacturing of critical components such as turbine blades and guide vanes in aerospace, power generation, automotive and petrochemical industries.
