Our customer is a power company from Turkey, so the required gas turbine accessories are used in the case of high temperature, high pressure and high-speed air flow, and the service life is required to be long. Because the turbine guide vane used by them are frequently damaged and their performance deteriorates, they cannot meet the demand. In order to alleviate this problem, we provide the customer with a new solution. The material inconel 625 was used for manufacturing. After investigation and evaluation, samples were tested for customers. Finally, we signed a cooperation contract for mass production.
Features of Inconel 625
Inconel 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with the following outstanding characteristics:
- 1. High temperature resistance: Inconel 625 can maintain stable operation at the operating temperature of up to 1000°C, and has good mechanical properties, suitable for high temperature environment of gas turbines.

1. Material selection We have selected high quality Inconel 625 raw materials to ensure the purity and uniformity of the material, laying a solid foundation for subsequent processing. Through strict supplier screening and quality testing, we ensure that every batch of materials meets high standards.
2. Precision casting adopts precision casting technology to ensure the geometric accuracy and surface quality of the guide vane. Through computer aided design (CAD) and simulation, the structure and cooling process of the castings are optimized to reduce internal defects and stress concentration. Precision casting not only improves the qualified rate of products, but also reduces the reject rate.
3. Heat treatment Through precisely controlled heat treatment process, optimize the microstructure of the material and improve its mechanical properties. We use a combination of solution treatment and aging treatment to ensure the stability and strength of the material at high temperatures. During the heat treatment process, the temperature and time are strictly controlled to ensure that each step achieves the best results.
- 4. Surface treatment Surface polishing and coating treatment to further enhance the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the guide vane. We used advanced physical vapor deposition (PVD) technology to coat the surface of the guide vane with a nanoscale ceramic coating, effectively improving its wear resistance. The surface treatment not only improves the service life of the product, but also enhances its aesthetics.
- 5. Quality inspection Strict quality inspection process, including dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing and performance testing, to ensure that every product meets the highest standards. We used X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and tensile testing to comprehensively evaluate the performance and reliability of TGV. Quality testing runs through the entire production process to ensure that every link is in the best condition.
Project outcome
1. Performance improvement The TGV manufactured with Inconel 625 performs well in actual operation, significantly improving the operating efficiency of the gas turbine. The stability and corrosion resistance at high temperatures ensure that the TGV maintains good geometry and surface finish over long periods of operation, improving the overall efficiency of the gas turbine.
