Configuration Guide

Choose the Right Cycle for Your Energy Priorities

Maximum Output & Heat Recovery

20 kW Simple-Cycle Configuration

Delivers 20 kW of electrical power with a 570°C exhaust temperature. The high-temperature exhaust can support steam, hot-water, process-heating and other heat-recovery systems.

  • 20 kW rated electrical output
  • 537 MJ/h stated fuel input
  • 570°C exhaust for higher-grade heat recovery
Efficiency & Fuel Economy

Recuperated Configuration

Delivers 17 kW at 23% electrical efficiency, with a stated fuel input of 255 MJ/h. It is well suited to projects with long operating hours and lower demand for high-temperature exhaust heat.

  • 17 kW rated electrical output
  • 23% electrical efficiency
  • 257°C exhaust temperature

Final configuration should be selected against the site load profile, thermal demand, annual operating hours, fuel cost, grid requirements and expected project return.

Project Flexibility

Engineered for Multi-Fuel and Modular Deployment

Fuel Options for Real Project Conditions

The combustion system can be engineered for natural gas, associated petroleum gas, biomass gas, diesel, and selected hydrogen, ammonia or alcohol-based fuel applications. Compatibility, blending ratio, gas cleaning and emissions performance are confirmed from a representative fuel analysis.

Compact, Reliable and Expandable

A high-speed integrated generator and modular architecture provide a strong power-to-size ratio while simplifying system integration. One unit can serve a compact load, or multiple units can be arranged in parallel so capacity and redundancy grow with the project.

Typical Applications

Where the 20 kW Gas Turbine Generator Fits

CCHP for Critical Facilities

Pair the turbine with heat-recovery or absorption-cooling equipment to support electricity, hot water, process heat or cooling for data centers, hospitals, hotels and commercial facilities.

Industrial Off-Gas Utilization

Convert suitable conditioned fuel gas from chemical, steel and other industrial processes into useful local power and heat, subject to gas-quality and cleaning requirements.

Associated Gas-to-Power

Use conditioned associated gas to supply oilfield equipment, instrumentation and auxiliary systems where pipeline access is limited, with optional exhaust heat recovery.

Specialized Power Systems

The compact architecture supports feasibility studies for marine, UAV and other specialized applications requiring dedicated engineering for intake, exhaust, controls, vibration and safety.

Buyer Questions

20 kW Micro Gas Turbine FAQ

Is this a 20 kW gas turbine generator?

The line includes two configurations: the simple-cycle unit delivers 20 kW, while the recuperated unit delivers 17 kW at a higher stated electrical efficiency of 23%.

Which fuels can the 20 kW model use?

Potential options include natural gas, associated gas, biomass gas, diesel, hydrogen, ammonia and alcohol-based fuels. Actual compatibility depends on fuel analysis, conditioning, combustor configuration, safety requirements and emissions targets.

Can it be used in a CCHP system?

Yes. Its exhaust can connect to heat-recovery and cooling equipment to produce useful heat, hot water, steam or chilled water. Balance-of-plant equipment must be designed for the selected cycle.

Can multiple units operate in parallel?

Yes, multi-unit configurations can be evaluated for larger or variable loads. The electrical system, controls, redundancy strategy and grid-protection scheme are engineered for each project.

Performance notice: Site output, efficiency, fuel input and exhaust conditions may vary with altitude, ambient temperature, fuel composition, inlet and exhaust pressure losses, and balance-of-plant design.
